A trio of Beggs High School Cross Country runners came home with medals after their first meet of the season.
The meet, held at Drumright, featured five BHS runners with three bringing home medals.
Headlining those bringing home hardware was senior Jeremiah Hughes, with a 2nd place finish.
Other medal winners were a pair of freshmen with a great start to their high school running careers.
Isaiah Clay finished 8th, while Tristan Braden placed 12th.
Just missing medals were sophomores Rex Howell and Oliver Wadsworth.
The group will compete at Oilton this weekend.
